People are raging at Oasis over this 'irresponsible' skinny mannequin
YESTERDAY, TWITTER USER Rhiannon L. Cosslett shared a photo of a mannequin from Oasis.
The photo, taken outside a London branch of the store, shows a mannequin with absurdly thin legs.
The image was shared widely across Twitter with many condemning Oasis’ decision to use such a mannequin.

Huffington Post Style reports that Oasis has since stated that their mannequins are not intended to be a representation of actual women’s bodies.
However, the spokesperson did add that the retailer would be reassessing its use of such mannequins in light of recent debates about high street shops using skinny mannequins.
Oasis is not the first shop to come under fire for using skinny mannequins. Last year, Topshop faced similar criticism when this image went viral on Twitter.
